More precise treatment of urinary tract infections and obesity
The research center «The LOOP Zurich» bundles the knowledge of ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich and the four university hospitals in Zurich. Two projects involving researchers from the Department of Health Sciences and Technology will be supported by LOOP for the next five years.

Christian Wolfrum, Professor of Translational Nutrition Biology at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology, has been appointed by the ETH Board as Vice President for Research at ETH Zurich.
New peer group of "Fix the Leaky Pipeline" at D-HEST
With financial support from "Fix the Leaky Pipeline", the doctoral students Anja Adamov and Lena Flörl have founded the new peer group "Launching a sustainable career" at D-HEST. The group held its first workshop in October.
