The 4th James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science will be presented on Monday, 3 February 2025, in the framework of the "HEST Translational Research Day".
The James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science honors an early career researcher who has fostered a groundbreaking collaborative research project in the fields of aging research, nutrition, metabolism, or related areas of health sciences.
The annual prize is given in remembrance of the late Professor James R. Mitchell (1971 - 2020), a pioneer in the healthy aging field, who conducted research at both Harvard University and ETH Zurich. In addition to his outstanding contributions to science, Jay was a beloved mentor and champion for early career scientists.
