James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science
The 3rd James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science was presented on Thursday, 7 September 2023, in the framework of the "D-HEST Research Day".
The James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science honors an early career researcher who has fostered a groundbreaking collaborative research project in the fields of aging research, nutrition, metabolism, or related areas of health sciences.
The annual prize is given in remembrance of the late Professor James R. Mitchell (1971 - 2020), a pioneer in the healthy aging field, who conducted research at both Harvard University and ETH Zurich. In addition to his outstanding contributions to science, Jay was a beloved mentor and champion for early career scientists.
