Bachelor's Programme

The first stage concludes with a "Bachelor of Science ETH in Health Sciences and Technology" usually after six terms.

The initial component of the programme consists of basic courses in natural sciences, mathematics and technical sciences. In the fifth and sixth semesters, specific health science topics are discussed in the areas of movement sciences and sport, neuroscience, molecular health sciences, and medical technology.

Language

Courses in the bachelor's programme are mainly taught in German (some courses in English).

Master Programme

The second stage is the master's programme which concludes with the degree "Master of Science ETH in Health Sciences and Technology”.

Within the master’s programme, the students choose one of the six Majors: Human Health, Nutrition and Environment; Human Movement Science and Sport; Rehabilitation und Inclusion; Medical Technology; Molecular Health Sciences; and Neurosciences. The specific courses within each major can be complemented by electives from natural and technical sciences, as well as humanities, social and political sciences.

Language

Courses in the master's programme are mainly taught in English.

Admission to other specific Master curricula at ETH Zurich with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and Technology may be possible, but is not guaranteed.
