Christian Wolfrum appointed as member of the ETH Zurich Executive Boardh
Christian Wolfrum, Professor of Translational Nutrition Biology at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology, has been appointed by the ETH Board as Vice President for Research at ETH Zurich.
As ETH President Joël Mesot writes in his message to all ETH members, Christian Wolfrum will succeed Detlef Günther as of January 1, 2023. After eight years, Detlef Günther will return to his research group in the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biology.
In addition to his research activities, Christian Wolfrum has been Director of Studies for the Health Sciences and Technology study program since its introduction in 2011, as well as for the Bachelor of Human Medicine. Since 2020, he has also been Delegate of Medicine to the ETH Zurich Executive Board.
