Spark Award winners illuminate tumours

With the Spark Award, ETH honours its most innovative and economically promising invention of the past year. Emma Wetter Slack from the Department of Health Sciences and Technology was among the finalists for the development of a new vaccine. The winners of the Spark Award are the two ETH chemists Helma Wennemers and Matthew Aronoff for a technology that makes tumours visible.
