Prerequisites a student should comply with

Track 1: Sensors, Materials, and Nanotechnology

Students should have a background and/or interest in the conceptualization and design of innovative sensing technology. Students should have expertise in materials and nanotechnology to excel in this track.

Track 2: Computing

Students should be interested in processing bio-​​signals and/or processing data sets to study behaviour. Students should have a background in data science and/or signal processing. Students should be familiar with MATLAB and/or Python to excel in this track.

Track 3: Human motion

The focus of this track is on setting up measurement systems/devices, designing protocols, collecting data and investigating human motion. Students should have a background in movement sciences, biomechanics, and/or sport to excel in this track.

Research projects of the group

Projects broadly fall under one of the following three tracks:
• Track 1: Sensors, Materials, and Nanotechnology. The focus is to develop innovative sensing technology using innovative materials and nanotechnology.
• Track 2: Computing. The focus is to use data science to process bio-signals and/or study behaviour.
• Track 3: Human motion. The focus is to study human motion using innovative wearable technology.
